My Favourite Song!

One of the questions we like to ask is: “What’s the best song, or piece of music, from the last 100 years?”

In this heartwarming compilation, centenarians share their ‘favorite song’ and the musical ‘memories’ that have shaped their lives over a century. And of course, the answers go in every direction. These are people who’ve lived through everything — from crackly gramophones and swing bands, to Elvis and the Beatles, all the way to today’s pop stars.

Music has been with them through every stage of life — childhood, wartime, the Depression, raising families, and celebrating milestones. The songs they choose say as much about who they are as they do about the music itself.
