The 100 Project

The 100 Project is a website operated by TrickleUp Media Pty Ltd (ABN 87 640 606 471) (“TrickleUp Media ”). The 100 Project website (“Website”) displays videos celebrating the lives and stories of 100-year-olds across Australia and contains tutorials about how to film an interview with a 100-year-old so that people can send video and photo material to TrickleUp Media for editing. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Website.

 1. Personal Information

Any personal information supplied to The 100 Project in the registration process and in any video footage, or photos submitted to The 100 Project will be collected used, stored and disclosed in accordance with the Appearance Consent and Video and Photo Licence and The 100 Project’s Privacy Policy.

2. Mailing List

You can subscribe to The 100 Project mailing list and, if you want to delete your your name and email from the mailing list, please contact info@the100project.com.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

TrickleUp Media is legally licensed to provide access to the videos and materials on the Website. All videos and photo materials are protected in Australia by the Copyright Act 1968 and by applicable legislation in other jurisdictions.

You must not:

  • remove any copyright, trade-mark or other proprietary notices from the videos or photos on the website;
  • directly or indirectly charge others for accessing, viewing or listening to the videos, on the Website or attempt to commercialise or exploit these videos or photos in any way; or
  • engage in any activity which could mislead or deceive a person into believing that the videos are from a source other than The 100 Project, including embedding, deeplinking or framing the videos without TrickleUp Media’s written consent.

4. Advertisements and links to third party sites

The 100 Project may contain links to other third-party websites, which are not within TrickleUp Media’s control. TrickleUp Media makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, appropriateness or completeness of content of any other website which may be accessed directly or indirectly through the Website. You acknowledge that you access third party websites at your own risk.

The 100 Project Website may contain advertisements which include links or refer you to third party websites. All third-party advertisements are paid for by the relevant third-party advertisers and are not recommendations or endorsements by TrickleUp Media of the advertised products and services.

5. Social Media

The 100 Project Website may provide links to social media pages. The social pages managed by TrickleUp Media on third party social media platforms for The 100 Project including YouTube and Facebook, may contain opportunities for you to make contributions, including to blogs and forums. All users of the Website and TrickleUp Media social media pages should treat each other with tolerance, courtesy and respect. Any opinions or statements created or posted by users on the Website and its related social media platforms are not the opinions of Trickle Up Media, neither are they endorsed by TrickleUp Media. Trickle Up Media will attempt to remove any opinions or statements which it considers inappropriate.

6. Engaging a Professional Videographer

If requested, TrickleUp Media may recommend external video production companies to professionally record interviews with the 100-year-olds that users of the Website may choose to submit. TrickleUp Media will not be party to any resulting contract or agreement.

7. The 100 Project logo

You must not use The 100 Project or TrickleUp Media logos or trademarks without the prior written permission of TrickleUp Media.

8. Children and young people

The Website and TrickleUp Media social media pages may contain content which may not be appropriate for children and young persons. The use of The 100 Project by children and young people should be managed by their parents/guardians or an appropriate adult. Information about online safety resources is available from the Office of the Safety Commissioner (www.esafety.gov.au).

9. Analytics information

9.1 Analytics

When you use your device to visit the Website, TrickleUp Media may collect information about your device. For example, TrickleUp Media may use web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or remarketing) to record how you access and use the Website with your device by collecting information about the advertising ID or Internet Protocol (“IP”) Address of your device, the date and time of that your device accessed the Website, the pages that your device accessed, and if your device accessed the Website from a link on another webpage, details of that referring web page, and “cookies” (as explained below).
